When Vix and Kelv told me they wanted their wedding shot on film I was clearly excited. I have always shot my personal work on film and I only really got into digital when I turned professional a few years ago. However I was also secretly sh*tting myself (which lasted the following week as I waited for the film to come back from the lab). It's the first time I've shot a wedding on film, but it certainly won't be the last. The nerves of picking up the negatives and the joy of looking through the photos for the first time reminded me of why I shoot film. Regardless of whether an imagine is out of focus or underexposed, every single photo is special.
(Shot on a Mamiya 645 and Canon EOS 3 on Kodak Portra film)
